The United Republic of Tanzania is located in Eastern Africa between longitude 270 and 410 East, latitude 10 and 120 South

The United Republic of Tanzania formed out of two sovereign states namely Tanganyika and Zanzibar, Tanganyika got independence on 9th December 1961 and Zanzibar become independence on 10th December 1963, The two sovereign republic formed the United republic of Tanzania on 26th April 1964.

Tanzania is the biggest (land area) among the East Africa countries. Tanzania is a spectacular landscape of mainly Physiographic regions namely the island and the coastal plains to the East, the inland source – shaped plateau and the highlands.

The Great Rift Valley that runs from the northeast of Africa trough central Tanzania is another landmark that adds to the scenic view of the country

Tanzania has the largest concentration of wild animal, It also has pristine sandy beaches and Africa`s highest and snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania home to the world famous National park and game reserves of Ngorongoro creator ,Selous game reserve Gombe stream, Tarangire, lake Manyara, Mikumi Arusha Ruaha , Sadani, Udizugwa Mountain, Mkomazi, Amani, kigosi, lukinika, Lumesule, Maswa,Monduli Mountain, Mangesi, Mount Meru, Ugalo and Serengeti National park.

CLIMATE: The climate is tropical and there are two main seasons the longer being March through June and short between October and November. The dry seasons start from July through October with clear and sunshine the whole day

The weather is suitable for a beach vacation the coastal area is normally hot and humid. The hot dry weather in January and February attracts the most tourists,the best time to visit the Serengeti is from January to March, when the grazer are calving and there are plenty of lion around or to witness the wildebeest migration to and from Kenya, which occurs at the onset of the day seasons and again with the first rains
